Compact Micro Gyroscope Sensor Adopts Mems Technology Mems Gyroscope MG112


Product Description

MG112 MEMS Gyroscope is developed and produced by SkyMEMS, it is used to measure angular rate. It adopts high-performance MEMS chips, and BIMOS signal limitation circuit.

A tough, compact housing holds potted electronics. Its cubical

form allows mounting with the sensing axis oriented in any

direction.

The voltage output of the MG112 is directly proportional to the rotational rate about its axis. The DC-coupled output is fully scaled, referenced, and temperature compensated. When used in demanding temperature environments, gain compensation makes the MG112 one of the most accurate angular rate gyros available.

MG112 is an ideal option for auto measurement, geological exploration, robot, missile guide and control, aircraft stability control, inertial navigation, antenna stability, etc.

Absolute Angle Measurement using MEMS Gyroscope

Contrary to the popular designs of MEMS gyroscopes which can only measure the angular rate and not the angle due to presence of bias errors, the design can accurately measure the angle of rotation. In order to make a reliable and practical sensor a composite nonlinear feedback control system is used to compensate for imperfection induced in the design during the manufacturing process. Thus this gyroscope can accurately measure both angle and angular rate for low bandwidth applications.
